These county and state fairs are ready to give you a boatload of fun in the sun this summer. From beauty pageants, livestock shows and demolition derbies to funnel cakes, freshly squeezed lemonade and cake auctions, these fairs have something for every family.

County Fairs

Warren County Fair
This fair full of history brings you bull riding, OMTPA tractor pulls, truck drag racing, demolition derbies and a monster truck show. $12 admission Monday-Thursday and $15 admission Friday-Saturday; week-long passes are $35. Children 2 and under have free admission.

Butler County Fair
From cake contests, livestock shows and cross-stitching competitions to horse shows, beer and wine tasting and cookie judging, this county fair has it all. Check out the county fair's website for a more in-depth schedule of events.  General admission (including parking) is $10 per day and children 6-12 accompanied by a paying adult are $5. Senior citizen and veteran day is free.

Clermont County Fair
The activities at this fair include a demolition derby, truck and tractor pulls, rodeos, a cake auction, wood carvers and even the “monkey man” with a live capuchin monkey. Daily admission is $10, which includes most rides. Children ages 3 and under are free. Sunday is free for everyone. Week passes are $30 for adults, $25 for youth and $15 for seniors.

State Fairs

Ohio State Fair
Come for the adrenaline rush with over 50 exciting rides and stay for the fine arts shows, exotic petting zoo, sporting competitions, magicians, hypnotists, kids entertainment, delicious goodies and more. Gate admission prices are $12 for adults and $10 for kids and seniors. Admission for children under 5 is free. Check out all of the events they offer on their website.

Kentucky State Fair
This year’s fair is set to be the biggest of them all, with the inaugural BEERFEST, major concerts, fried food, AgLand and a wide variety of entertainment for all ages. Let’s not forget about the famous Kentucky horse shows, either. Early bird general admission tickets are available for $9 online, and it covers parking and entry into the fair and its attractions, excluding BEERFEST, Thrill-Ville and evening performances of the World's Championship Horse Show. A ticket is required per person over the age of 5.

Indiana State Fair
This fair promises a load of fun for you and your family. There are plenty of new activities this year, including the Indiana Basketball History Exhibit, the Illuminate light show, a parakeet encounter, an otter adventure, racing pigs and more. The Indiana State Fair also includes traditional fair fun, like fried foods, rides and livestock shows. General admission is $11, parking is $8 and children 5 and under are free. Midway wristbands are sold separately and are available on the website.
