Over-the-Rhine's historic Findlay Market is getting ready for the 2020 outdoor market season. They officially begin taking applications for vendors on Saturday, Feb, 15.
The year-round outdoor market consists of three main areas where vendors can set up: Essen Strasse, typically for prepared food vendors; Elder Street, typically for artisan producers; and the Farmer's Market, for growers and farmers.
"This is a great opportunity for budding entrepreneurs to be part of the most energetic, vibrant (and historic) market in town," a press release from Findlay Market reads.
The market gives start-up or part-time businesses a platform to engage and connect with the community while growing their company. Vendors can participate in free monthly workshops that offer guidance in topics like food costing, social media for small businesses and legal advice for food entrepreneurs. Findlay also offers access to the Findlay Kitchen, which has commercial-grade equipment and storage.
The application fee costs $25 for new vendors and $20 for returning vendors.
