The biggest helicopter leasing event in the western hemisphere since 1997 is coming to Cincinnati.

OK, there won’t actually be any choppers available (or Dale’s sick drum solos), but the Catalina Wine Mixer made famous by Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly’s 2008 buddy comedy Step Brothers is happening for real at Washington Park this September for a night of art, music, fashion and, most importantly, wine on wine on wine.

Young professionals from across the Tri-State are invited to mingle and connect over shared passions. The event was created by local real estate entrepreneur, event producer and community partner James Marabel as a way to bring together “YPs of all backgrounds in a unique setting that encourages connection, fun, and artistic expression from all attendees,” according to a press release.

Hosted at the newly expanded Porch at Washington Park, dog-watch from the sidelines of the dog park or play a round of corn hole, giant chess or giant Connect Four. There’s so much room for… you get the idea.

Head over to sip on your favorite reds, whites and rosés from Revel OTR Urban Winery, with music from DJ Prymtime and a pop-up art installation courtesy of Dick Waller’s Art Place.

This oenophile’s dream continues across the street at Memorial Hall for an afterparty with DJ Bandcamp to round out a Derek-approved Catalina f'n wine mixer. POW!

6-10 p.m. mixer; 10 p.m.-1:30 a.m. afterparty. Sunday, Sept. 1. $20 mixer; $20 afterparty; $30 mixer and afterparty.
