Emo Nite at Bogart's
9 p.m. Feb. 10
Until the day we die, we spill our hearts for the era of emo. Bogart’s will host Emo Nite, featuring Dan Marsala of Story of the Year on Friday. Just as Hawthorne Heights proclaimed back in 2004, Ohio is for Lovers. So break out the fingerless gloves and black eyeliner. Lace up your Converse and get ready to mosh, but not too enthusiastically, remember this is “emo” night. Emo Nite is a traveling party, trailing your favorite hits from everyone’s cringey emo phase. Let’s face it, the music was good. The style, not so much. “Not a band. Not DJ’s. We throw parties for the music we love,” according to Emo Nite’s website. “*Rawr XD*” If you know, you know.
