The team at Over-the-Rhine's Rhinegeist Brewery has been hard at work over the course of last year, preparing to introduce their seasonal cider releases for 2021.

The brewery announced via a Facebook post that they are debuting a new can design in addition to some new flavors, which will be released throughout the year. There will be five flavors in total, including their classic "Semi Dry," which has been renamed "Zappy."

"In 2020, we had a lot of fun experimenting with unexpected flavor combinations for our new cider releases (including tweaking the recipe of an old favorite), and we decided to double the fun with a can redesign," the post reads.

"Showcasing seasonally focused recipes from winter-inspired warming blends to bright springtime sippers, these tasty ciders deliver flavor to fit any mood or occasion."

Flavors include the aforementioned Zappy; the Swizzle with lemongrass and ginger; Bloom with pear and elderflower; Beezy with honey; and Snug with spices.

All ciders contain 5% ABV.

According to the post, the ciders will be released throughout the year starting this week. Follow Rhinegeist's Facebook page for details.
