Over the past year, Agave & Rye's brand has seen an increase in popularity, with the Covington-based taco spot announcing earlier this summer that a restaurant would be opening in Lexington and that there are plans to expand nationwide.
The restaurant specializes in tacos, boasting a generous selection with extravagant toppings and ingredients (19 to be exact). The offerings include traditional proteins like chicken, fish and steak, but also more interesting options like alligator, kangaroo and duck. The eatery also features a wide variety of tequila and bourbon.
Agave & Rye announced on Aug. 22 that it will be taking its tasty tacos to the 'burbs of Greater Cincinnati in October. The new location will be at 7125 Fountain View Drive in Liberty Township's Liberty Center.
“This is an exciting move for Agave & Rye,” shares Yavonne Sarber, the restaurant's founder, in a press release. “We are looking forward to sharing the Agave & Rye experience with the residents of Liberty Township, along with helping enrich the surrounding community with excellent service and food dining experience.”
The Agave & Rye concept explodes with creativity, from its food menu and cocktail offerings to the restaurant's fine art/street art design focus. Visitors can expect bright and colorful murals, grungy textures and an overall laid-back and approachable vibe.
This will be the fourth location opened by the restaurant this year, with plans to open two more by the end of 2020. Agave & Rye hopes to open 15 or more additional locations each year following.
