Magnetic Cincinnati Neo-Soul musician Lauren Eylise recently released a live performance video of her song “The Most (Madonna-Whore Interlude)” filmed at the former site of the historic Herzog recording studio, where classics by the likes of Hank Williams, Bullmoose Jackson and Rosemary Clooney (among many others) were recorded decades ago.

Performed with her full live band, the heart-stirring, goosebump-inducing song was featured on Eylise’s stellar 2017 album, Life / Death / Life (click here to find it on your favorite digital platform). Eylise is currently a vocal instructor at Herzog Music, the retail, repairs and events space located on the first floor of the Herzog building downtown on Race Street.

The singer previously released a short film based on "The Most." She has also done other performance videos in the Herzog building and was featured on Cincinnati Music Heritage Foundation and Herzog Music's Lost on the River podcast in an episode that also featured King Records legend Otis Williams.

Eylise is performing a free show on June 29 on Fountain Square, part of the Square’s summertime Fifth & Vine Live music series.
