Norwood's Listermann Brewing Co. has teamed up with the Cincinnati Zoo for a very adorable (and delicious) collaboration. And they've teased an appearance from a "purrfect" special guest at the release party on Feb. 8.

Listermann has dedicated its newest brews to the zoo's cutest BFFs, Kris and Remus. Cheetah cub Kris was the single survivor of a litter of three born to first-time mom Neena in the zoo's cheetah breeding facility in Clermont County. The zoo's newest nanny, a puppy named Remus, was soon brought into the family as the cub's companion so the two could grow up together.

The unlikely duo became fast friends and are the stars of the brewery's mixed four packs featuring two Kris caramel stouts and two Remus vanilla stouts.

The beer release party is set for Saturday, Feb. 8, beginning at 10 a.m. Listermann says, "Kris will be on site at 1 p.m., but not for long.15-20 minutes. Poor Remus is scared of cars so he will not be joining us."

The four-packs cost $14 and there will be 600 packs available. Proceeds from the sales will benefit the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.
