Does green beer make you pee green?

Cincinnati was recently named the 16th best city in the nation to celebrate St. Patrick's Day and these parties help prove that distinction.

If you're looking for somewhere to chug green beer this weekend  — aka during "St. Practice Day" — or on March 17 itself, or just start drinking with your breakfast, these events have you covered.

Note: This is not a comprehensive list of every St. Patrick's Day party or bar serving green beer.

St. Patrick's Day at Molly Malone's
Molly Malone's in Covington is an Irish pub year-round but goes very green for St. Patrick's Day. They'll have green beer, Irish dancers, bagpipers and live music from Liam's Fancy on Saturday, March 12. But they also have a full-on party on March 17 with kegs and eggs, green beer, Irish entertainment on two stages and themed T-shirts for the first 100 guests. That Thursday, they'll close down Court Street in Covington and put up a tent for all-day entertainment. Bar opens at 10 a.m. March 12; kegs and eggs start 7 a.m. March 17. Free admission on March 12; $10 on March 17. 112 E. Fourth St., Covington, facebook.com/mollymalonescincinnati.
