All the Veggie Burger Options Available During Cincinnati Burger Week

On its surface, Cincinnati Burger Week (Aug. 17-23) appears to be a celebration of all things meat, but vegetarians like burgers, too. And veg heads definitely aren't an afterthought at this year's event.

On its surface, Cincinnati Burger Week (Aug. 17-23) appears to be a celebration of all things meat, but vegetarians like burgers, too. And veg heads definitely aren't an afterthought at this year's event. 

The following participating restaurants are offering special Burger Week veggie burgers — just as creative and satisfying as their beefy counterparts, and still $6 a pop (except where noted).

Here's who is offering what:

Bangin Burgers — "Bangin" Portabella burger with a fresh, hand-picked mushroom cap, grilled onions, provolone, topped with ketchup, mustard, mayo, garden toppings of your choice and served on a soft bun. Get food truck location details at facebook.com/BanginBurgers20.

Bucketheads — Bucketheads says they are offering a black bean patty. Kitchen 1883 - On The Rhine Eatery — The OTR outpost of Kitchen 1883 is offering a plant-based meatloaf burger. The Union and Anderson locations are offering Impossible Burgers. 100 E. Court St., Downtown, facebook.com/Kitchen1883.

Coppin's at Hotel Covington — Sub a black bean patty in their Burger Week offering topped with avocado aioli, smoked Gouda and jalapeño citrus slaw on a housemade potato bun. 638 Madison Ave., Covington, facebook.com/CoppinsCovington.

Freddys Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Offering a black bean burger with cheese, a full slice of onion, Freddy's Sauce, lettuce and tomato, served on a toasted bun. Multiple locations, facebook.com/FreddysUSA.

RJ Cinema Distillery & Taproom — They are offering an Impossible Burger.
