This October, forget Taco Tuesday. Cincinnati is celebrating a whole week of tacos.

Running Monday-Sunday, Oct. 9-15, Cincinnati Taco Week will bring a host of $2.50 specialty tacos from participating restaurants, with some eateries offering up to three taco options.

And while we’re all winners during Taco Week, you can also win some grand prizes. There are two ways to win during Taco Week: One is to check in at five or more locations during the week to automatically be entered to win a $250 grand prize in gift cards. The other is to earn the most points, which you can do by checking in at restaurants via the Taco Week app. The winner will be crowned Cincinnati’s Biggest Taco Lover and receive $250 in gift cards. You can also earn extra points by enjoying a Braxton Brewing Co. beer with your meal.

Hoxworth Blood Center is also teaming up with Taco Week. Taco enthusiasts can donate blood to Hoxworth throughout the week to earn extra points.

You can download the app here. It allows you to not only track your meals, but also see the full list of participating restaurants and their $2.50 taco specials, as well as get real-time restaurant updates. There will also be different contests featured throughout the week on the app.

Fifty Greater Cincinnati restaurants will be joining Taco Week. Some participating restaurants include Bandito Food Park + Cantina, El Barril Mexican Sports Bar, Mazunte, Mi Cozumel, Tortilleria Garcia and more. See the full list here.

A kickoff event for Taco Week will be held Wednesday, Oct. 4 (National Taco Day) at Braxton Barrel House (5 Orphanage Road, Ft. Mitchell) from 5:30-8:30 p.m. You can get a head start on earning points by checking in there on the app.
