The “new normal” we’ve all had to adjust to as the result of the COVID-19 pandemic has presented a variety of unpredictable lifestyle changes. For the class of 2020, this means virtual graduation ceremonies and canceled or postponed graduation parties.

Across the city, multiple businesses and organizations have made efforts to honor this year’s graduates in a multitude of ways. The latest on the list? Busken Bakery’s Hyde Park location is offering 2020 high school and college graduates a free individual graduation cake from May 27 through May 29.

Although parties may be postponed, this year’s graduates can still celebrate their accomplishments with a sugary slice of Busken’s iconic fluffy cake and sweet icing. Graduates must wear 2020 graduate gear or show their student ID. Offer is only valid while supplies last.

Busken joins companies like Krispy Kreme and Chipotle who have also offered special deals and freebies to this year’s graduating class. Click here for a full list of freebies being offered exclusively to 2020 graduates.

Busken Bakery, 2675 Madison Road, Hyde Park.
