Raise your hand if you like free stuff!

The nation will celebrate National Cheeseburger Day on Saturday, Sept. 18 (yes, it's a real thing). In honor of everyone's favorite meat holiday, a few national chains with Greater Cincinnati locations are handing out freebies and discounts. As always, check with your favorite location to make sure it's participating in national offers.

McDonald's: Get a double cheeseburger for $0.50 on Sept. 18 (must order through the McDonald's app). Multiple locations throughout Greater Cincinnati.

Red Robin: Buy one cheeseburger, get one half-off through Sept. 19 (must be a rewards member by Sept. 13). Multiple locations throughout Greater Cincinnati.

Smashburger: Get a Double Classic Smash Burger for $5 on Sept. 18. 2517 Wilson Ave., Highland Heights, Kentucky.

Wendy's: Buy one cheeseburger, get one cheeseburger free through Sept. 19 (must order through the Wendy's app). Also, get any size fries for $1 through Oct. 3. Multiple locations throughout Greater Cincinnati.

Not into national chains? Cincinnati has tons of fantastic, locally owned burger joints, from upscale to divey. Read about Cincinnati's best local burgers in CityBeat's 2021 burger issue.
