Last night at an announcement event at Woodward Theater, the lineup for June’s three-day Bunbury Music Festival at Cincinnati’s Sawyer Point/Yeatman’s Cove along the riverfront was unveiled.
The top-line acts for Bunbury 2018 include three amphitheater/arena headliners — Jack White (who presumably won’t have his “no phones” rule enforced?), The Chainsmokers and blink-182. The rest of the lineup is a similar mix of Pop, Electronic, AltRock and Hip Hop. The full roster so far features Post Malone, Incubus, Foster the People, Young the Giant, Dropkick Murphys, Royal Blood, Third Eye Blind, GRiZ, Coheed and Cambria, Manchester Orchestra, Fitz and The Tantrums, Lecrae, MisterWives, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, LANY, The Front Bottoms, Bishop Briggs, Everything Everything, A R I Z O N A, Sir Sly, Two Feet, Black Pistol Fire, Peter Bjorn and John, Allan Rayman, Magic Giant, Gang of Youths, Reo Cragun, Welshly Arms, Lillie Mae, Remo Drive, The Wrecks, Tall Heights, McLovins, Commonheart, Vesperteen and Bummers.
The Cincinnati bands announced for the festival are progressive Hard Rock crew Lift the Medium (which scored the Cincinnati Entertainment Award for Metal/Hardcore/Hard Rock at last year's CEA ceremony), Pop Punk/Post Hardcore band Friday Giants and Synth Pop act Moonbeau (winners of the 2017 CEA in the Electronic category).
Bunbury takes place June 1-3. Three-day tickets are available now for $179 via ticketmaster.com (VIP packages — ranging from $450-$1,399 — are also available).
