John Mellencamp has announcedThe John Mellencamp Show” tour, which will bring the 66-year-old hit-making rocker to Cincinnati’s Aronoff Center on Feb. 10 (note: he’ll be 67 by the time he gets to Cincy). Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. Early-bird and VIP tickets will be available Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. (click here for details).

The tour will follow the release of Mellencamp’s latest album, Other People’s Stuff, which is due Nov. 16 on Republic Records. Those purchasing tickets to any show on the tour will receive a free physical copy of the LP. The album will be Mellencamp’s 24th.

“The John Mellencamp Show” tour will be presented “An Evening With” style, with no opening act. The show will feature mostly classic Mellencamp classics — in the press release announcing the tour, only “some new material” is promised.

Next weekend (on Sept. 22) Mellencamp is playing Connecticut’s Farm Aid, the large-scale benefit concert he founded in 1985 with Neil Young and Willie Nelson. This year’s event — which again raises money for family farmers across the country — will also feature Nelson, Young, Dave Matthews, Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, Margo Price and many others.
