Cincinnati Pop Rock stars Walk the Moon have a busy summer on the road ahead of them, including an extensive North American run with 30 Seconds to Mars. Local fans can catch the group on July 28 when they play Great American Ballpark after the Reds’ game that night. But everyone can see one Walk the Mooner early next week — WtM bassist Kevin Ray will make his TV acting debut on the CBS mystery show Elementary.

Here’s a synopsis of Ray’s appearance from the CBS PR department:

In the episode, Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Watson (Lucy Liu) enter the world of rare antiquities when they investigate a case in which victim was killed during a Revolutionary War reenactment. Kevin Ray plays a member of the Revolutionary reenactors who (discover) the victim.

Here’s the promo commercial for the episode — called “Pushing Buttons” — which airs Monday, May 14. (That’s Ray at the start of the clip, the middle "soldier" of the three uniformed not-dead reenactors talking about the dead reenactors).

In other, more musical Walk the Moon news, the band released a video for its single “Kamikaze” a few weeks ago.
