Graham Nash is coming to Cincinnati in 2020.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer (squared) will host “An Intimate Evening of Songs and Stories” at Over-the-Rhine’s Memorial Hall on Tuesday, March 31.

Tickets for the show ($65-$101.97) go on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday, Nov. 1. There are also VIP/meet-and-greet packages available. Visit memorialhallotr.com for info.

Nash has lived a few musical lifetimes since he began his career in the U.K. in the early ’60s. His first taste of success was with British Invasion-era hitmakers The Hollies, which he co-founded. Before he left the project, The Hollies had huge hits like “Bus Stop” and “Carrie Anne.” The group would continue to have success through the ’70s, but Nash split towards the end of the ’60s to form a new band with U.S. singer/songwriters David Crosby (of The Byrds) and Stephen Stills (of Buffalo Springfield).

Crosby, Stills & Nash (and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, when that other Buffalo Springfield guy, Neil Young, participated) would become one of the most influential and successful U.S. Rock bands of their time, with era-defining songs like “Woodstock,” “Ohio,” “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes” and the Nash-penned “Our House” and “Teach Your Children.”

Nash has been twice inducted into the Rock Hall, going in with both The Hollies and CSNY. A longtime activist (he co-founded the Musicians United for Safe Energy organization in the late ’70s, which put on the popular “No Nukes” concerts), Nash has written about political, social and environmental issues for decades (see below). He has sporadically released solo albums since the early ’70s, including 2016’s This Path Tonight. Last year, Rhino Records released Over The Years…, a  collection of Nash’s songs from the past 50-plus years, including various rare demos and alternate mixes.
