Last night, the Kings of Leon show at Blossom Music Center in Cleveland was postponed, and fans are waiting to see if upcoming concerts — like the one in Cincinnati — may be next.

The band announced Thursday afternoon on its Twitter account that it would not take the stage that evening after one of the band's team members tested positive for coronavirus.

No makeup date has been announced yet.

Kings of Leon also has not announced how it will handle the shows coming up soon on its tour schedule, including Friday's show in Illinois. The band is scheduled to visit Cincinnati on Aug. 31 at Riverbend Music Center.

Those who have COVID-19 typically quarantine for 14 days, and those in close contact with people who have been infected often isolate for some time, as well.

Music venues in Cincinnati and elsewhere recently have announced new measures to provide safer experiences as the Delta variant of the coronavirus rages through the nation. Riverbend Music Center, for example, will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test administered within the prior 48 hours beginning in Oct. 4.
