The Boone County Animal Shelter recently eliminated the euthanasia of all treatable animals (yay!), which means their Pawapalooza fundraiser is more important than ever.

The Boone County Animal Shelter recently eliminated the euthanasia of all treatable animals (yay!), which means their Pawapalooza fundraiser is more important than ever. Help the shelter raise funds to provide medical care for sick, injured, abused and orphaned animals via the fest’s K9-5k, live music, animal adoptions, concessions, vendors, pet costume contest, silent action and more. Bring the whole family (furry members as well). This year’s 5k run/walk will be an evening Doggie Glow Run starting at 7:30 p.m. at England Idlewild Park (5550 Idlewild Road, Burlington, Ky.). Registration for the 5k is $30, which includes a T-shirt and goodie bag.
