Matt Sledge, Back on the Air

Jan 18, 2011 at 4:38 pm

Matt “Sledge” Waller, a former DJ for the late Indie/Alternative music powerhouse WOXY (dating back to its terrestrial days in Oxford, Ohio), has gotten back to playing music. Waller hosts a weekly two-hour radio show on the Internet channel party934.com, which also airs in its hometown of Hudson Valley, NY, on the 94.9 frequency.—-

The channel calls its DJs “party mixologists” and the various programs have no set format, just whatever the DJs choose to play. Sledge’s show (check out his bio here) airs Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m.

While Sledge’s specialty is still “Modern Rock,” he is seeking out recordings from artists in the Cincinnati/Dayton to play on his shows. If you’re an artist with a decent recording worth airing (or know someone who does), have them send MP3s to [email protected] (he will accept CDs if necessary; drop him a line for his snail-mail address).
