It would seem that, by now, anytime someone finds film canisters or stacks of old VHS tapes, the smart idea would be to burn everything and get the hell out of Dodge. Scott Derrickson, the writer-director of The Exorcism of Emily Rose, fashions another creepfest that beats the latest Paranormal Activity movie into theaters, but better scare up whatever box office it can before the head-to-head match-up for the souls of audiences everywhere.
