An outdoor cinema experience is popping up in Cincinnati this summer, and this time it's just for grown-ups.
NightLight 513 plans to bring Millennial-favorite films to Sawyer Point through October, with bonus local food trucks and craft beer. Films will be screened at the P&G Stage.
"Think of it as a picnic at night to watch a movie with a ton of friends PLUS beer, wine, food, live music and some of the best that Cincinnati has to offer," reads the NightLight website.
Events are for those 21 and up and are ticketed. General admission is $9.99. Early admission is $14.99 and gets you advance access to the best seats, plus prime spots in line for food and beer.
NightLight says to bring blankets, pillows or chairs for seating. Events are rain or shine, but will be canceled in the event of inclement weather (no refunds).
The inaugural party takes place on June 16 with a screening of The Breakfast Club. Rhinegeist will be the event's featured craft brewery with food from Wicked Hickory, Kantine on Wheels, Taco Oso, MamaBear's Mac, Lumpia Queen, Wild Side, Nonstop Flavor and Graeter's. Entry time is 7:30 p.m. (6:45 p.m. for early admission) and films start at dusk. Tickets are available at nightlight513.com.
