You can support a good cause and cuddle some adorable kittens in the process at the annual Purrfect Day Cafe Kitten Shower.
The Kitten Shower is happening Sunday, May 5 from 1-5 p.m. The cat cafe, located in Covington, will use the shower to raise much-needed funds for Greater Cincinnati animal shelters.
Admission to the Kitten Shower is a $30 donation, which will get you a 25-minute snuggle session with the adoptable kitties, the opportunity to enter a special giveaway, $2 in “kitty cash” to use at Purrfect Day merchandise or snacks and an official Purrfect Day Cafe Itty-Bitty Kitty Club sticker. Kids are also welcome to take part in the Kitten Shower, but note that the cafe says the event is suitable for ages 6 and up.

Purrfect Day is also requesting item donations for shelters be brought to the cafe, saying donations play a vital role in supporting shelters during kitten season, a.k.a., their busiest time of year. You can also donate via their Amazon wish list here, but buying local is also highly encouraged.
The cafe will also be using its Kitten Shower weekend to celebrate the grand opening of their outdoor courtyard/patio. That will take place Saturday, May 4. The space is dog-friendly and features a full bar. There will also be live music, events and adoptable dog nights on the weekends.
