On the heels of announcements by several Cincinnati arts institutions that they are closing their doors temporarily due to a spike in local COVID cases, Over-the-Rhine's Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati has also declared it will be pushing some show dates as a result of the pandemic.
"Out of an abundance of caution and in anticipation of an increase of local COVID cases fueled by the Omicron variant and post-holiday surges, Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati will be postponing its remaining 2021-2022 productions by a few weeks," said the theater in an email.
Impacted upcoming shows include:
- Queen — now running Feb. 19-March 19
- The double bill of I Shall Not Be Moved and Your Negro Tour Guide — now running April 9-May 7
- Tiny Beautiful Things — now running May 28-June 25
Ensemble requires proof of COVID vaccination or a negative COVID test, as well as a mask, for entry.
