A new sports and entertainment lounge will be opening in downtown Cincinnati next year.

Further Concepts and Investors, the hospitality management company behind restaurant Baru and the Voices of America Country Music Festival in West Chester, released renderings of their next concept, Vintage on Race. The lounge will be located at 500 Race St. in 3CDC’s mixed-use Foundry development.

Vintage on Race will be a mix of the luxury of an athletics club and the warmth of a family bar, walking the line between upscale and comfortable, says owner Tyler Wogenstahl. The color palette, featuring gold, copper, magenta and deep blue, throughout will balance warmth and vibrancy, with a touch of nostalgia in its groovy, retro vibes.

“We wanted Vintage to be a place you could lounge, observe and unwind,” Wogenstahl said in a press release. “As you can see in the renderings, there’s plenty of comfortable seating perfect for kicking back to watch a game, socializing with friends or taking in some live music with a drink in hand. It’s exciting to have designed a space that will bring this type of energy and entertainment back to an area so rich with Cincinnati history.”

The space is currently under construction, but Wogenstahl is hoping to open Vintage on Race in early 2024. Thunderdome Restaurant Group’s new American brasserie, The Davidson, is also slated to open in the coming months, says 3CDC.
