"Meet Hester an 18 month twenty ish pound sweet mini Aussie at a little under twenty pounds. Hester came to SAAP with her three other sisters. Hester seems to be the most outgoing of the sisters however she is a little shy and nervous at first. Hester immediately explored her foster home then took a nap on foster moms lap. Hester will need a patient adopter to work with her shyness. A confident dog friend would be great, so far she has meet several pups and has done fine. Sometimes she guards my lap but when she is vocal I just tell her no . Since we consider Hester a bit of a flight risk due to her shy behaviors she would need a physical fence with a tie out to start and someone would need to be outside with her. "Caroline is a female tri-colored Treeing Walker Coonhound who is an energetic 8 years old. She is even tempered and affectionate. Caroline is housebroken and pulls a little on the leash on walks. She is playful and needs a fenced yard in her forever home. Caroline also loves hanging out with her family watching TV. She gets along with other dogs but no cats."

"George is 13 weeks old and 8 lbs. He is a Dachshund/Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix. Don’t let his small size full you! He loves to run, chase a ball and snuggle in your lap. He has a lot of personality packed into one tiny body! He has the best puppy eyes to melt anyone’s heart:) He will still need to be given his 3rd Dhpp, Lepto, Rabies and be neutered at times stated on his paperwork. As long as this is done by our veterinarians, there is no cost involved until everything is completed. Then the adoption fee of $300 and signing of the adoption contract is due. Everything will be completed between when he is 20-22 weeks of age."

"Meet Sammi! This pretty girl is ready to bust out of the shelter and find herself a loving family. She is sweet, silly, and smart! Sammi can be a little buty shy at first, but she loves treats and will warm up pretty quickly if you toss a few her way. She seems to love being pet and will just about crawl into your lap for some love. Sweet Sammi is looking for a loving family to call her own. Since she is a little bit nervous around new things it might take her a little bit of time to adjust but we are confident she will be a big love bug.
