Bratter Up: Everything We're Excited to Eat at Great American Ball Park This Year

As the Cincinnati Reds are gearing up for Opening Day Thursday, March 28, chefs at Great American Ball Park are prepping their kitchens for the upcoming baseball season.

Hungry baseball fans will have endless options to choose from this year, from a classic hot dog to burgers with a side of nacho cheese in Reds souvenir helmets. At a media event Friday, March 22, Delaware North previewed some of what's new to hit concession stands from executive chef Gary Davis, including goetta sliders, nachos with smoked meat and a brisket hoagie from Montgomery Inn and sausages and hot dogs from the Reds' new all-beef sponsor, Hempler's. Also, back by popular demand is the Skyline Nacho Helmet, which debuted last year.

Also new on the concessions front is the Food Hub, a new walk-in, grab-and-go market located on the third-base concourse. It'll feature concession stands from Penn Station, Wings & Rings and LaRosa's, as well as hot dogs, snacks and drink coolers. It's also self-checkout, making the experience faster and more efficient so you can get back to your seat without having to miss the action on the diamond.

Hempler's Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage

Fifty West Loaded Bases Nacho Burger

A double smash burger with lettuce, cheese and tomato, served with a side of nacho cheese sauce for dipping in a Reds souvenir helmet. Get it at the Fifty West Stand in Section 129.

Big Red Dog

A bacon-wrapped, grilled Big Red Smokey that's then topped with pimento cheese and a signature sauce and served on a toasted pretzel bun. Find it at Scouts Alley and the Porkopolis stands in Sections 117, 128, 416 and 425.

Skyline Nacho Helmet

Back by popular demand, the Skyline Nacho Helmet features nacho chips topped with Skyline Chili and shredded cheese and is served in a souvenir Reds helmet. Find it at the Skyline Chili locations in Sections 103, 116, 130, 518 and 535.

Montgomery Inn Brisket & Cheese Hoagie

Montgomery Inn smoked brisket, topped with peppers, onions, banana peppers, queso cheese and barbeque sauce and served on a potato sub roll. Grab one at the Montgomery Inn Smokehouse.
