After opening locations elsewhere in Ohio (Columbus and Dublin), Pins Mechanical Company ventured south to Cincinnati to open its third entertainment bar in mid-November. The new Over-the-Rhine location features two floors of duckpin bowling, vintage pinball machines, ping pong, foosball and more as well as a rooftop patio with bocce ball and fire pits.
The entertainment hub specializes in duckpin bowling, which uses smaller bowling balls (without holes), smaller pins and smaller lanes than traditional bowling alleys. The bowling lanes are first come first serve, so it is recommended that guests come early to get their name in the queue, grab a drink and enjoy one of their other games while they wait.
Pins boasts three fully-stocked bars (two inside and one coming soon on the patio) with 36 craft beers on tap, plus signature and seasonally rotating cocktails.
Duckpin bowling lanes are $5 per person for each game and it's $10 per hour for ping pong and bocce. Pinball and foosball games will only cost you two shiny quarters. Giant Jenga is free!
