A former church designed by Samuel Hannaford, the same architect behind Cincinnati City Hall, is for sale in Sayler Park.
According to the listing, the church at 7340 Kirkwood Lane was built in 1877 in the British Arts and Crafts style and was home to the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, later named St. Luke's Episcopal Church. The building overlooks historic Sayler Park and comes with a partial view of the Ohio River.
The church building is zoned for either single-family residential use or to remain as a church, but offers have to be in all cash or a renovation loan because it doesn't come with a kitchen or full bath, and historic restrictions apply.
The church's original sanctuary remains in good condition and comes with gorgeous stained glass windows. The building has also undergone extensive renovations, according to the listing, including masonry cleaning, tuck-pointing and sealing, painting on the exterior and repairs to the bell system.
The church is listed for $399,000. For more information, reach out to Adam Sanregret or Holly Tumbleson with Keller Williams. The original listing can be found here.
