Popular Symmes Township chicken joint Silver Spring House is going all out in honor of October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The restaurant received a new paint job, courtesy of Sherwin Williams, transforming the restaurant, sign and parking lot with donated pink paint.

"Join us as we celebrate breast cancer survivors, pay tribute to loved ones lost, and raise funds to help fight for a world without cancer," a Facebook post from the restaurant reads.

Throughout the month of October, Silver Spring House will be partnering with the American Cancer Society and Pink Ribbon Girls to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer.

They will host a kick-off party on Oct. 1 starting at 7 p.m. with live music from 64West and raffle baskets with items donated from the community, plus t-shirts, hats, split-the-pot tickets and more. Later in the month, they plan to have a dunking booth with "familiar faces" that you can donate to dunk.

Follow along on their Facebook page for the full list of events throughout the month.
