Disturbed, The Original Misfits, Pantera and Slipknot to Headline Sonic Temple Festival in Columbus

The lineup for 2024's Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival — set for May 16-19 at Columbus, Ohio’s Historic Crew Stadium — has been announced and it’s a doozy, particularly for fans of hard and heavy rock, but also for ones with open minds and tastes.

New this year, the festival has added a fourth day of fun and music, along with an additional fourth stage and 40 more bands and art activations. In total, 120 bands will be performing over the course of the festival's four days — the largest number of bands ever hosted at Historic Crew Stadium, according to a press release.

Headliners announced for the four-day festival are Disturbed (Thursday), The Original Misfits (Friday), Pantera (Saturday) and Slipknot (Sunday).

Tickets for the festival go on sale Friday, Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. on Sonic Temple's website. The presale for festival email and SMS subscribers begins Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m.

Sonic Temple is being produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, which co-founded Columbus’ Rock on the Range festival. Rock on the Range dissolved after the 2018 concerts due to “creative differences” between Wimmer and co-founder AEG.
