Apparently, Cincinnati's sports teams are just full of hotness.

Only a few months after the Golden Ratio Face app claimed that the Cincinnati Bengals' Joe Burrow was the most handsome quarterback in the NFL, another sports personality is being hailed for his looks – and he's not a young upstart.

Cincinnati Reds manager David Bell is the No. 14 most handsome manager in Major League Baseball, according to new research conducted by Golden Ratio Face in partnership with Gambling.com. According to a Jan. 12 release, the 50-year-old manager earned a "beauty score" of 7.39. That's well below New York Mets manager Buck Showalter, who at age 60 scored an 8.65. Bell is above 7.14, the average for all 30 MLB managers.

A graduate of Archbishop Moeller High School near Montgomery, Bell has helmed the Reds since 2019, compiling a .460 (251-295) record over four seasons. As a player in the 1990s and 2000s, Bell spent time in Cleveland, St. Louis, Seattle, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Milwaukee.

But Bell isn't the only Cincinnati representative in the top half of the list. Dusty Baker, who managed the Reds from 2008 to 2013, lands at No. 6 on Golden Ratio Face's list with a score of 7.95. Perhaps leading the Houston Astros to become the 2022 World Series champs increased the 73-year-old's perceived attractiveness?

Managers in the Reds' National League Central are well represented, with David Ross (Chicago Cubs, No. 4) and Craig Counsell (Milwaukee Brewers, No. 9) making the top half of the list. In general, National League managers scored higher than their American League counterparts, Golden Ratio Face found. But Cleveland Guardians manager Terry Francona, 63, earned the top spot of the Ohio teams, landing at No. 5.

Managers in their 50s had a higher average score than any other age group, including those in their 30s, the youngest bracket, Golden Ratio Face found.

According to the release, Golden Ratio Face rated portraits of players currently posted to MLB and team websites.

The Reds posted their second-ever 100-loss season in 2022, ending with a record of 62-100. The 2023 season will kick off with a home opener against NL Central opponent the Pittsburgh Pirate on March 30 at Great American Ball Park.
