Despite losing to the New York Red Bulls 2-1, FC Cincinnati still had a reason to celebrate in front of a sold-out crowd at TQL Stadium on Wednesday, Oct. 4. That night, FC Cincinnati finally got to celebrate winning the Supporters' Shield for having the best regular season record among the Major League Soccer teams. The Supporters' Shield is the first trophy won by FC Cincinnati since the team's inception. According to FC Cincinnati, their loss to the Red Bulls did not impact their first-place ranking.
