Though the Cincinnati Reds have a ways to go before potentially clinching their spot in the playoffs, they managed to earn their fifth win of the past seven games on Sept. 18 against the Minnesota Twins. Rookie Connor Phillips' pitches made it hard for the Twins to score (a fact that the team even admitted) during the newbie's first Major League Baseball victory. The Reds eventually went on to win 7-3 against the Twins during the first game of the series.
