6 p.m.-12:30 a.m. Dance, skate and drink on Fountain Square this New Year's Eve. Grab a cocktail from the bar, enjoy outdoor heaters, listen to tunes from a live DJ and watch a fireworks show. 8 p.m.-2 a.m. Dance the night away at Tokyo Kitty. On New Year's Eve, the popular karaoke destination will be offering a special cocktail menu and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Enter the new year in style at Hotel Covington's Midnight on Madison New Year’s Eve Party. Guests can drink from a champagne fountain and Bubble Bar, as well as dance the night away to tunes provided by DJ Jemal Potter. 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Boogie your way into the new year at The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn show at the Southgate House Revival. Concertgoers can expect to hear new music from the band, as well as a few surprises. “I like to put stuff in the set that you can only see if you come to the show, things that aren’t on any record. I think that’s sort of a bonus for the people that are coming out and paying that full ticket price to see the show," Reverend Peyton told CityBeat in an interview published earlier this month.
