March Sadness: Trade Your Busted Bracket for a $3 Pint at Taft's Brewing Co.

There are few things more upsetting than having the team you predicted to win March Madness be knocked out of the first round by the No. 16 seed. (Like maybe how NKU is going to beat Houston Thursday night? You can dream).

Taft's Brewing Co. understands this feeling of defeat, which is why they're going to be celebrating March Sadness throughout the NCAA men's basketball tournament. At any Taft's Brewing location, you can trade your busted bracket for a $3 pint and the chance to win the grand prize of $100 in "Taft's cash."

"We figure, a broken bracket is as good as toilet paper, so why not try to make some dough?" the brewery said in a press release. "Since most of us can’t predict the upsets, we may as well celebrate our losses. Turn that frown upside down!"

To enter for the grand prize, hand in your busted, printed-out bracket with your name and email address written on top. At the end of the tournament, the biggest and worst losers at each location will be entered into the drawing.

Taft's Brewing says near-perfect brackets will be denied a $3 pint.

The brewery will also be holding specials throughout the tournament:

• First and Second Rounds (March 16-19): Wear your team gear and get $5 pints.
• Sweet 16 (March 23 -24): Small pizza with one topping and a pint for $16 at the Brewpourium; Classic burger, fries and a pint for $16 at the Ale House.
• Elite 8 (March 25-26): Get two pints for only $8 (must purchase at the same time).
• Final 4 (April 1-2): Four six-packs for $28.
• Championship (April 3): All pints and appetizers are 50% off during the game at Taft's Ale House.
