These Three Cincinnati Restaurants Made it Onto OpenTable's 'Top 100 Romantic Restaurants' List

Carlo & Johnny made the list once again.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, OpenTable has released their top "100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America" list for 2023, and three Cincinnati restaurants are on it.

OpenTable is an online restaurant reservation and review service that offers up city guides, news, tips and tricks, awards and more throughout the restaurant world. The unranked list of the 100 most romantic restaurants features eateries from 26 states, plus Washington, D.C.

"Food is its own love language, but when it’s served in a cozy room or a candlelit booth? Guaranteed fireworks," writes OpenTable.

Two romantic Cincinnati heavyweights, Carlo & Johnny and Sotto, returned to the list for 2023. The two have been featured on it the last several years. New to the list, however, is Over-the-Rhine's premier romantic Italian eatery, Pepp & Dolores.

Two other Ohio restaurants made it onto the list — Pier W in Cleveland and Lindey's in Columbus — as well as two in Kentucky: Malone's in Louisville and Patti's 1880 Settlement in Grand Rivers.

OpenTable says it created the list by analyzing over 13 million reviews on its site.
