Junior has a heart of gold and children are his most favorite thing in the world. He would do fantastic and would thrive in a home with children of all ages and sizes. Unfortunately Junior suffered from a gunshot and had to have his back leg amputated. But that does not stop him! He will need a home with a fenced-in yard or must have a property collar to prevent him from adventuring off. He does well with other dogs and does not mind cats at all. Junior will be ready for adoption in 2wks and we will be ready to accept applications on him! Her little grey nose is begging to be booped and you should see the wiggles that you get when it is! Beasley is active and will need an active home to match. Even though she is strong and active she is actually quite gentle on the leash. She is always trying her best and ready to learn.”

“Anna is a big beautiful chunky hound girl around 11 years young. She’s the perfect blend of active and couch potato. Anna loves running in the fenced area keeping it free from squirrels and moles. She also loves a good comfy couch and long naps. Anna gets along with others but no cats for her. She seems house-trained with doggy door access. Ann is good with people of all ages.”

You see Isabella has cerebellar hypoplasia, also known as “CH,” or “wobbly cat syndrome.” But don’t panic–cerebellar hypoplasia is not as scary as it sounds. Just keep in mind these four essential facts about CH when considering cerebellar hypoplasia cats up for adoption: 1. CH is not painful. 2. CH is not contagious. 3. CH is not a progressive condition (i.e. the condition doesn’t worsen over time). 4. Cats with CH can live long, happy, and normal lives. Now let’s learn about Isabella’s personality; she loves chasing her own tail. Even with mild-CH, she can get around quite well. She likes to practice her wide-legged stance for balance, and loves to pounce. This sweet girl, who is very friendly, does great with getting around and climbing up on cat trees, she loves playing with her sister Abigail, catnip toys, chasing Abigail through tunnels and she is a fantastic snuggle companion, Fun fact – she will never jump on your counters! Abigail loves all the same things her sister Isabella loves. However, she is a little more on the timid side. Once she’s comfortable with you, she will be in your lap or by your side purring her heart away, both these girls have the loudest PURRRRRRR boxes I’ve ever heard! when you get them going at the same time it’s music to your ears. Abigail and Isabella have been raised with two Saint Bernards and two smaller dogs. However they would prefer to be without dogs or dogs that pay absolutely no attention to them. Both girls do well with other cats with a gentle introduction, sometimes they can be a little protective of one another. Isabella and Abigail would do best in a home with older children due to Isabella’s wobbliness, she can’t land on all fours like normal cats so she would need children holding her to know to set her on the floor gently.”

(Satellite event) “3 years old, shepherd mix (best guess), male, 57 lbs Max came to us from a Ky rural shelter that was at capacity. He is incredibly sweet, and playful. Max loves other dogs, but will do best as an only pet. He doesn’t like to share attention, or toys with other dogs. He loves toys, and food puzzles. Max catches on to commands fairly quickly but will need consistency. He appears to be housebroken. Max is crate-trained, and leash-trained. Max does well with older children, and loves all people. He is current on vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchipped, and neutered. We are accepting applications HERE.”

“Crispin is the sweetest orange boy around! He’s a unique boy who doesn’t have a tail. We don’t know why but it’s adorable! Crispin is a regal guy around 3 years old. He was found as a stray in Kentucky and, after a proper stray hold, made his way to us. Crispin is a sweet boy who LOVES to talk to his person. He likes being held and walking around the house while you talk to him. He gets along with cats and younger kids. He doesn’t immediately love dogs but with slow introductions, we think he will be just fine. He seems to just take some time to warm up with them. If you are looking for a feline friend who will greet you at the door and love you unconditionally, then Crispin is your man! Crispin has Manx Syndrome which is very common for cats with no tail. It’s very easy in his case, he takes a little Miralax daily in wet food or a treat. Not too much to ask for with this sweet, laid-back hunk of a kitty!”
